Kalima Jackson-Wills is a Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern in the state of Florida. Kalima earned her degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Capella University graduating with honors. Kalima has worked in both agency and private practice settings before opening her own practice Serenity Mental Health and Wellness Services in 2018. Kalima’s focus is to help individuals find healthy coping skills to deal with emotional disturbances such as depression, anxiety, grief and trauma. Kalima’s life purpose is to awaken, inspire and teach women and young adults how to achieve wellness in every area of their life. Kalima has a heart for the Motherless mother or daughter who feels like they are living in autopilot, simply existing and not truly living. As a result of living in autopilot, most find themselves in toxic relationships and work environments that take a toll on their mental health. Kalima helps women move forward by addressing mindsets, choices and behaviors that keep you from experiencing true mental wellness. Kalima utilizes integrative therapeutic techniques to provide a personalized counseling experience for all.
Kalima is also a author and speaker, who has been featured on platforms such as Straight Talk, Woman Talk, 2019 Urban Film Festival panelist in Orlando Florida and at University of Central Florida’s (UCF) School of Counseling and Psychology program.
